Mayowood Stone Barn Wedding | Rochester, MN

It seemed like just yesterday Jess & Alec met by chance working at a local pizza shop. Now, the two were about to be wed on a bright, sunny day at Mayowood Stone Barn in Rochester, MN, and I was lucky enough to be the one to capture it all!

Their mid-September Minnesota wedding reflected a love that’s last – a special day that was bright, airy and effortless. The couple chose a palette of soft pastels with hints of gold to play with the natural autumn colors, and it only added to the beauty of the Mayowood Stone Barn!

Floral and greenery were design elements filled the ceremony and reception space. One of the focal points of the reception was the gorgeous floral chandelier installation created by Fox and Fern Floral.

Jess shined in her Celestine by Carol Hannah wedding gown (the dress she fell in love with before her engagement!) while Alec beamed in his suit, which was of course, the groom’s favorite color – blue! The groom paired his suit with kitty socks to represent the couple’s cats since they couldn’t join them on the big day!

Alec and Jess added as many personal touches as possible – which made their wedding such a delight to capture! From cat-themed place cards, chair signs, and hand-grown succulent favors.
